NORTHWEST AIRLINES REPORTS SEPTEMBER TRAFFIC

Northwest Airlines today announced a September consolidated (mainline and regional) load factor of 81.3 percent, 1.3 points above September 2005.

 

EAGAN, Minn. – Northwest reported a mainline load factor of 82.2 percent, 1.2 points above September 2005. 

 

In September 2006, Northwest and Northwest Airlink regional carriers flew 6.17 billion consolidated revenue passenger miles (RPMs) and 7.58 billion consolidated available seat miles (ASMs), a traffic decrease of 5.5 percent and a capacity decrease of 7.1 percent versus September 2005. 

 

Northwest flew 5.75 billion mainline revenue passenger miles and 6.99 billion mainline available seat miles in September 2006, a traffic decrease of 4.2 percent and a capacity decrease of 5.6 percent versus September 2005.
